The Witcher: Season 1, Episode 3: Betrayer Moon

The Witcher episode 3 has arrived. I have been looking forward to this. So far so good so lets see what to make of this one shall we …

The Witcher. What would a full moon episode be without an intro involving an unidentified monster. An attack has occured, noone in the town of Temeria knows how to rid themselves of this terrifying problem that keeps on killing. It is a job for a Witcher none the less …. but not Geralt of Rivia!?

So where is Geralt? He is trying to forget what happened with princess renfri  when a piece of information gets his attention and he begins to plan his trip to an unstable Temeria, a place that he will come to find, doesn’t take too kindly to Witchers. The Witcher, then stumbles across a sorceress in the woods she wants to pay him to do a job but what kind of job is this – why has he been paid and who he has been paid by, are they looking for answers? He makes a shocking discovery for both him and the king of Temeria …

Meanwhile, the witch Yennefer of Vengerberg is with Istredd play by Royce Pierreson her scorcerer lover, she is still trying to run away from herself. She has one desire and she’s about to make it happen with the help of Tissaia de Vires the sorceress. Yennefer becomes hot topic amongst The Brotherhood of Scorcers in conversation involving Cintra and Nilfguard as they discuss her future …

The Witcher corners King Foltest of Temeria played by Shaun Dooley, he gets him alone to find answers as to why & who the monster terrorizing his kingdom really is … Temeria has many secrets, the Witcher is about to uncover some deep dark ones as he enters the decrepit, abandoned castle, where the monster lives, maybe he is about to discover someones dirty little secret …

Yennefer is not happy, but why? She misses the witches initiation ritual and found out about her betrayal, she is hurt, but she can also inflict hurt too. She has regained her focus and has made plans to be powerful … and beautiful? A painful, exchanging transformation is about to occur. Will Yennefer shock them all?

The Witcher tries to save the monster … but is it really even a monster?  This is no simple task, and maybe he doesn’t make it … In the mean time, far away from where Geralt is, Princess Ciri  is being drawn, maybe even summoned into a creepy looking woods, but why?
