SAMHAIN CORRESPONDENCES: A MAGICKAL TIME FOR US ALL!

That super special time of year is nearly here! What am I talking about … I’m talking about Samhain or Halloween (whichever you prefer) and Samhain correspondences. Maybe you’re looking for some new ideas or maybe you are new to this and need some guidance. Either way, I have just what you need to help you on your way to planning a spectacular Samhain festivity! This time of year, we’re noticing the shorter days and long cold nights and as more darkness begins to consume our days.

The sunny days are behind us, now is the time for us to turn our focus more inward. This is designed to be used as a quick reference for any Samhain/Halloween practice or activity you wish to plan for this years Sabbat.

NOTE: Samhain is pronounced SAH-Win.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN FOCUSES FOR SAMHAIN?

Samhain is a cross-quarter fire celebration and is the halfway point between the Autumn Equinox (Mabon) and the Winter Solstice (Yule). Samhain is typically celebrated from sundown on October 31st until sundown on November 1st in the Northern Hemisphere. But some like to take the whole month of October to dedicate and celebrate! I say, why not!

When you are planning on what you are going to do for your celebration of this major Sabbat, it is a good idea to have in mind specific key words and spiritual focuses so you can really connect with the energy and, work on things that need to be worked on at this time of year. Below you can find some useful focuses for you to think about and incorporate into your magickal and spiritual workings:
